So why do we add a Discharge Fee?

We try to keep our fees as low as possible. But one thing we have encountered over the years is difficulties with Discharges. From patients still being connected to IVs and electrodes, to needings meals, meds or clothes; we are always waiting and helping patients and families keep things moving. And, yes, many times there is "extras" to bring along...this was an actual pick-up from some months ago...
